Merlin, could this break be any less exciting? I must have forgotten how utterly boring it is to be forced to spend time with my parents for an extended period of time. Did I mention they had relatives over? As if it wasn't bad enough that I had to stay in when there were pubs to be visited and local girls to meet up with, but I had to spend time with my damn Great Aunt June. Ugh. It really is a disservice to the city to keep me locked away from the town birds.
But I guess I shouldn't be complaining. At least the weather is better here. I don't feel like I'm completely snowed in. I don't have to see all the tossers from school, that's something. Still. I wish there was at least something to keep me entertained. Maybe I should duplicate myself and escape. I should look into that...

I've heard about everyone being all rattled with this weather, so I thought you'd all want to hear MY opinion on it. Merlin, what are the state of things at this school when the most interesting thing to talk about is a bit of snow? Well, actually, it has been far more than a little bit of snow. I am not impressed at all. It's cold and it's wet and it's gross. The worst part is that it won't leave. If we have to actually play Quidditch in this....ugh.
Speaking of Quidditch, to all those who have got their panties in a bunch about not having practice, the fact is that no one is having practice. So we're all at a disadvantage. Slytherin will just have to rely on our own natural talent to kick the Gryffindor's arses. And hopefully we won't all freeze in the meantime.
That being said, would any of you lovely ladies be interested in some hot chocolate?
